Trailer Package

Whether you choose a trailer package or not, the Maxi-Trax will still be set up to receive a trailer package. Just a few bolts and pins and you're all set.
Here's what comes with our trailer package:

• Torsion Axle - this type is very easy to put on and take off and they provide a very stable and soft ride
• 12 or 13 inch Tires and wheels - It's your choice and makes a three and a half difference in deck height.
• Slide in Draw Bar with 2" Ball
• Safety Chains and Swing Down Jack
• Heavy-duty Handy Man jack to move things up and down
• One Set of On-Off Fenders
• Set of Magnetic Lights - Can be removed when conditions warrant. They also can be used on any other trailers or farm equipment

12V Loader & Turner

We were the first to bring the power winch to the sawmill deck and still the only one that makes it so one man can use it to roll and turn 2,500 lb. logs. The ramps for loading are cogged to keep the log from sliding and becoming cocked. When not in use, it is pulled back on its slide bar so the saw head can pass by. The battery connections are set up the same way as our sawmill batteries. With alligator quick clamps for fast and easy removal. You can interchange the battery with the sawmill battery, or you can trickle charge after three or four days of use.

Bevel Cut Head

Using the Bevel Cut Head you can make 8, 10 and 12 inch clapboard as well as Shingles of various sizes. We have designed the bevel cutting feature right into the head itself. You simply put on the overlay scale of the size siding you want to run, square up your log and make either clapboard, or conventional cuts all day long. If you want to change the siding size, simply change the overlay scale. It takes ten seconds. It's that simple and it retains the accuracy we demand!
